A gift to NPC’s Endowment Fund is a meaningful act of worship and stewardship—supporting the church, its ministries, and future generations. Through lifetime gifts and estate bequests, you can help participate in God’s work and His blessing of future generations.
As God’s children, we know that He is the source of all blessing, and that all we have is His. Lifetime giving and estate planning are not only financial decisions, but also acts of faith—they are an opportunity to leave a legacy that honors Him. Just as we have been blessed with this beautiful church by the generosity of those who came before us, a legacy gift can bless the future generations of Noroton Presbyterian. Building on their legacies, we can continue our work of worship, sharing the gospel, and caring for our community for years to come.
The Endowment Fund of Noroton Presbyterian Church was established in 2012 to provide a way for members and friends to make lifetime gifts or bequests that support the long-term financial health of NPC. Its purpose is simple and lasting: to strengthen the church’s ministry for generations to come.
The Fund honors the legacy of Benjamin Weed (1821–1909), a foundational figure in the life of Noroton and an elder of our church. A “Son of the Revolution” and a man known for resilience, integrity, and decades of steady work, Mr. Weed helped shape the early character of NPC through his faithful leadership and stewardship.
In 2025, the Endowment Fund was strengthened with amended bylaws and a newly formed team and board to oversee its management. Today, the Fund continues Mr. Weed’s legacy—investing wisely now to ensure a faithful and vibrant future for our church.
There are multiple ways to give and support the fund.
