Noroton Presbyterian Music Ministry

Worship is intended to change and form us; to awaken individuals who form the church body to become followers of Jesus. At Noroton Presbyterian Church, music is at the heart of worship. In our worship, we are challenged to give our lives as an offering, not a performance. We welcome all who love to sing to be a part of this vibrant ministry.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir provides musical leadership for worship at Noroton Presbyterian Church. This volunteer and professional adult and teen group, with varying musical backgrounds, presents a wide variety of repertoire from sacred church music, spirituals and hymns to modern worship songs. Additionally, the Chancel Choir presents an evening of sacred music at Advent Choral Vespers accompanied by an orchestra. Our own Dwayne Condon masterfully orchestrates thoughtfully selected music for this intimate yet grand pageant of praise.

The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. No audition is required. The choir is directed by Dwayne Condon, Director of Music and Fine Arts.

Worship Teens

Worship Teens is a fun worship band for teens in grades 6th through 12th and is led by Jenifer Condon, NPC’s Worship Leader, and assisted by Kenny Weiss & Dwayne Condon.

Worship Teens present music to the congregation occasionally on Sunday and prepare a special musical event each May. If you love to sing or play any instrument (ie. guitar, violin, drums, etc.) and are interested in joining the band, please sign up below.

Worship Ensemble

With the purpose to promote passionate and genuine worship of our Lord, the NPC Worship Ensemble leads at the second, less traditional service on Sunday Mornings. Accompanied by orchestral instruments, these select players produce a more modern, inspirational sound with worship songs of praise orchestrated by our own Dwayne Condon.
